BMW Lighting Parts

Quality is one of the major focal points BMW has stuck to from the day they showcased their first vehicle many years ago. They have continually shaped vehicles with distinct designs, while making a vow to uphold the high reputation and conditions their clients have come to expect. BMW is still manufacturing quality within their vast product line. This has helped launch them to become one of the German big three, and more specifically, with their lighting parts and components. There are more than a few lights enclosed on the tail light assembly of your BMW vehicle, including the backup lamp, brake lamp, parking lights, turn signals, and brake force display lamps. If these lights end up not working, there are two main symptoms to why. If all of the lights are faulty, that points to a blown tail light fuse. If only one light on the tail light system is not working, that points to an issue with that specific light's bulb. The answer to both issues is just to replace the damaged part. For fixing your single light, first turn off your BMW's engine and open your trunk. Take out the fasteners in the trim of the trunk lid by using a screwdriver and then remove the trim from the trunk to show the tail light area. If you have questions about BMW’s lighting parts or components, the FCP Euro team and website are always ready to assist you for any of your needs.

You are now ready to take off the bulb socket that is holding the damaged bulb by pulling it out. Then, push the bulb in carefully while turning it clockwise to remove it. Pull the bulb straight out of the socket and use a clean cloth to pop in the new bulb. Put the socket back into the assembly and put back the trunk trim. If you are having problems with all of the lights in your BMW turn signal assembly, first turn off the engine and open the glove compartment. The fuse box is situated in the back of the glove compartment. Take off the cover of the fuse box and beneath the fuse box you will locate a pair of plastic tweezers, as well as the position of each fuse printed on the cover. Look for the tail lamp fuse. Use these tweezers to take off the tail lamp fuse and replace it with a new fuse with the same amperage. Put the cover back onto the fuse box and then shut the glove compartment.
